Immune boosting Spring smoothie

There are some serious colds going around and seasonal allergies may be affecting you. There is good news! This simple and easy morning smoothie is filled with immune boosting vitamins and minerals that will cleanse and revitalize your system so that you can welcome this spring with open arms.

The zinc and iron rich pumpkin seed protein powder will energize your immune system. The fiber, omega fats, and selenium in chia seeds will cleanse your digestive system, boost your immune system, and provide nourishing minerals for your skin and hair. Spirulina can help to balance your hormones by cleansing the liver.

Recipe 

1 cup unsweetened organic rice milk

1 cup water

1 banana

2 tbsp ground chia seeds

3 tbsp *Omega Nutrition Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder

1 tsp spirulina

Mix all ingredients in a blender and drink! Left overs can be stored in a jar to be consumed throughout the day.
